Patches created a perf. issue it seems...

I had the game installed and working just fine, with graphics set to high for everything. Not a single issue. So I installed the patches (1.61, 1.62 and then 1.46) and after that the game is UNPLAYABLE! The darn thing is too slow to play, even after I crank all the graphics settings down to lowest for everything! Is this a known issue? Anyone have some thoughts? All other games play great...

This is because the patches add new graphics to the game. If you have the expansion, you´d notice the same thing.

I think you can play the game like before, just turn off Bloom, Dynamic Lights and Warp Effects. That worked for me.

(btw, I´m using 256 Mb GeforceFX 5700 LE)
