I recently upgraded from 1.35. I did the 1.61->1.62->1.64 without trying to play the game until the complete upgrade from 1.35 was complete. When I played the 1.35 version, it required me to have disc 3 in the cd player. Now it requires disc 1 and won't start with 3 or 2. When I double click on the shortcut to the painkiller file in the bin directory, I get several boxes that appear sequentially that a particular file is not found in a certain location. I click OK in each box and then the game starts up and seems to play fine. It is just an annoyance to have to click all (7 or 8) boxes that appear. Anyone else have this problem? Any way to bypass the startup screen?
Thanks,
