View Full Version : Major Major Multiplayer Problem!!!!
Ok, it seems everyday we find a new problem with this game. today, me and my brother were co-oping in the forbidden lands with lvl 11 characters. one human female and one male. well we saved and quit but when we reloaded and picked our characters they changed to..."- L0 Human Male" both of them. on the right side it shows them correclty but when we click on them it changes them both to what i mentioned above. also, the game wont load after that. there are tons of errors and it finally crashes to the desktop after some deep6 error. We tried looking at the character from the load character menu but the screen turns purple and everything is set to 0, level, stats, points, everything. Im getting ready to uninstall and never look back....

Not sure why you are having this issue, just wondering if you installed the first patch?
Yes i have the patch installed. i believe i know what it is. i believe there is a bug where if you load character into a game that is already a marauder you can talk to the hall of weaponry and get the quest again taking up ANOTHER class slot and having 2 marauder classes. why dont they have some sort of check, so that if you are a maruader/knight you can't rejoin the fighter guild?
ok, i found out that it is not that because we started over and got to naga temple with lvl 12 characters. when i pressed a lever on the wall it crashed to a blank blue screen and the save game got corrupted again!!!

that just plain sucks. Hope they fix the multiplayer bugs real soon.

What save game slot are you saving to? When saving to the 4th save game slot, the game appears to only write a certain amount and then gives up, leaving only half a save game. In slots 5-8, it appears to only write blank files. Anyone else seeing this?

Yeh, its bloody frustrating, me and 6 others were playing co-op, reloading every so often because of issues until we got to the wizards tower and we could not get in, tried everything, mind you I had got past this point with two player co-op, but 7, no chance, we shelved the game and went back to NWN, may give it another go later, if they fix the multitude of problems.
