(Which, incidentally, I wish they'd spend more time fixing their game and less time moving threads)
How do we know the difference between "Off-topic" and "General"???
So far, I've seen several threads moved that seem to be relevant to the game, just unfavorable to DC.

I am under the impression that by tomorrow, there will be a description added to each forum topic to ensure that people understand where to post to.
If the questions continue to be feedback or suggestions, they will be moved accordingly.

They have different staff, Forum moderators mostly dont do much, only mod the forums. Plus this is a useless topic and should be closed.
Plus if you think clearly, this thread doesnt belong in the forums at all.
Example: if you have a question about the game you can post it in General.
If you have some bug or technical question you have the other section for that.

That's why you're here! You're the one who's supposed to do the clear thinking so we don't have to! :p

We already have this game to gripe about. We don't need anything else.
off topic in this forum would be something specific.
so, is there a forum just dedicated to bitching?

All I'd like to know is a clear boundary between "Off Topic" and "General" defined by DC that way we don't have to guess where we're supposed to be posting what. To my limited understanding, they both sound like open invitations for pretty much the same thing.
If I were to guess, I'm thinking more clear terms would be
"General Gameplay" and
"Off-topic".
(Assuming that's what they're intending.)
But let's not get on the hobby-horse of "complaining about the complainers" again, please...

If they don't like what you have to say, it goes to Off-Topic. {smirk}

Or apparently to something called Suggestions/ Feedback.
Been busy with some other stuff the last couple of weeks, but decided to come and take a look at the board, to see what was new. Apparently, 1.2 is STILL not out :D and they've started -heh- "organizing" the boards to be more on-topic  .
If that's really true, I'm wondering why some topics have been moved while all of the "I'm stuck"-type topics haven't been moved to the Hints or Tech Support boards.
Oh well, I know that I'm pretty much done with this game, both directly and tangentially. I've done my best to inform (or more accurately, warn) people in various places about it (*). I'm still wondering why DC/ HP released this game. I'm still wondering why they are so apparently contemptuos of their customers intelligence. I wish you guys the best of luck with your future endeavours, but neither of you (DC/ HP) are going to be seeing consumer spending directed at your products. Pity. as I certainly thought that Still Life had potential (hate the ending, but that's another rant...) for a franchise. I wish you all the luck in your future endeavours. I also wash my hands of you, your terrible development and release philosophy and your heavy-handed and incompetent ability to handle criticism from your customers.
(*)= Heh, it got to the point where I was warning away people who weren't going to get the game legitimately, not out of a sense of respect for IP rights, but because I truly belived that the game was not worth their time and/ or efforts.
ETA: Before someone starts posting about the "uselesness" of an apology, I make my point about the advantages of apologizing here. (http://www.dreamcatchergames.com/forums/showthread.php?p=160727#post160727)

If that happend to me, I wouldnt even reply to the forum for my own sake. If they keep up poking the mods, they wont get any **** from them either.
