I have a few suggestions for the combat system:

1. Shield bash attack used to stun/cause damage to opponents under a certain size (ex. no trolls or other large creatures)

2. Spinning attack that knocks down enemies in range and causes enemies out of range to temporarily back off. This would be most useful when surrounded or flanked.

3. Distance limit on how long you can be chased. If there is one, I haven't noticed so far.

4. Add a combo to the backward directional attack. A single, short-range overhand chop doesn't cut it (no pun intended).

* would be nice if they made archery and trown weapon add dammage at higher level. Bows do so little dammage.

* Maybe they could make sneak skill work even if their is no one else arround, for those of us who play more single player than multiplayer.

* Eventually if there are plans for additions i would like to see more spells, areas, quests. For the spells i would suggest earth, air, Dark/necro magic.

I know that there is neither spells, but i am thinking more along the lines curses like in diablo 2 such as amplify dammage, iron maiden, or something like steal life (either a spell that makes caster/party regain life when dealing physical dammage, or the caster of the spell just absorbs life from the target.

The Earth magic could include earthquake like spells, having spikes shoot up from the ground to hit and stun the target. Basically spells that do dammage and stun the enemy for a short peroid.

The Air magic could blind the target for a short time do a little dammage. Example of a spell might be hits all targets in the direction the character is facing for a few points of dammage, knocks back anyone in the spells arch, and has a 10% chance to blind anything dammaged by the spell. The knockback still knockbacks blocking opponets.

well thats what i got for now.

1. I agree with this one, but no stun or anything just a small bash.

2. Already there (Heavy Weapons)

3. There isnt one, they follow you till you die.

4. No opinion of this one.

What's the point of bashing if not to stun? I can just hit them with my weapon if I want to do straight-up damage.

As far as the spinning attacks, you can do them with the advanced combos on you weapon skills. What I'm talking about is a separate special attack that has the effect I described above, which would be available to light, medium, heavy, pole and magical weapon specialists.

You have a spin for light weapons, too-your side full combo(hold S/F/<-/-> down and start a combo with 5+ light weapons.

And how about a haste spell in the school of air, I'm sure you were falling asleep in a moments when you traveled from Fargrove to Skuldoon or other great distances.

Of course you can't fall asleep cause you will get lost and hm..no automap ;)

a haste spell would be nice. A player with back stab could use it to get behind the enemy and actually try and get the bonuse.
