I started the game as a fighter. After some surfing I found out you can advance in other classes as well, depending on your first class. The Manual isn't very clear on this...
Anyway, can I still become a Paladin and Crusader, despite starting off as a fighter?
Thanks in advance

Yes, if you join the Celestial Order, you can become an Adept and advance in their group as well. But you can only have one Tier Three class(as you state, Crusader), so you will have to choose only one of them to advance fully in. I'd advise taking the Crusader path. You have to become a Paladin first, though.

Just so you know, you'll still be a Fighter, so become a Knight too-it helps with even more weapon learning bonuses. :)

To become Paladin and Crusader you need to join the Celestial Order and become an Adept, after that you can do quests for a Paladin and Crusader ;)

ya checked that out, but it just gives details on the quest itself and what equip is available. i was looking for a little more of a description on the classes. as to skills and how one vary's from the next.
maybe i am overlooking the descriptions more than i should. in lineage 2 some classes were close in description but from each class to the next, they had different attributes and things like that. i may still am in that mind set, and need to adjust to a new set of guidelines i guess.

Well there isnt much of a description of classes, it just shows you what a class can have, equip and do and what ability they gain.
I know a Paladin is an Unholy fighter, but in Dungeon Lords they dont gain bonus attack or strike against Undead like in NeverWinterNights.

Could be a Dark Paladin. It happens.
