Can't save Sensei

My wife and I are at the Dragon and Tiger quest. We are having trouble killing the bounty hunter before Sensei dies. The problem is he keeps jumping in front of us or between us and the bounty hunter and we are killing him ourselves. (especially bad using ranged weapons or magic attack). What complicates it even more is when the bounty hunter is driven up the hill the game glitches and locks us up. Anybody have any suggestions?

Try using nova spells if you have them. From what I have seen, they should not damage NPCs if you cast them during a safe mode game.

we had teh problem the first time through,

Only way we did it, was using the push back and push him all around, was able to keep him moving in a small circle, and never getting Sensei to accidentally between us and the assasin, no use of blocking or waiting for an opening, just crude beat the heck out of the guy while taking damage, as one of us would get low, use a heal potion while the other continued the push.


No special secret to do this though sorry.

I dont know what were doing wrong,We cant kill the bounty hunter before Sensei dies.Are we not strong enough(Level 11 Thief and Level 11 Mage)?The problem lies with Sensei always jumping in front of are attacks and taking damage.It seems that other poeple dont have this hard of a time.What are we doing wrong?
