...but only for the german version of the game, sorry folks.
The german publisher has announced a patch for the german version of Dungeon Lords containing only an automap as a new feature. Timeline is "the next days", how many weeks ever this means.
The source for the ones of you that are able to read that german gibberish:

I really like this quote (via Google translation) ... it's "uber"-cool:

The "yawning emptiness" is substantially more disturbing in my eyes

I would hope that means that our patch is forthcoming soon, also within a few days (or a few days of the German patch).

Why would they get it before us?

Regards,
Michael

Because you shouldn't make the Germans angry; you wouldn't like them when they're angry...

I really doubt that the german version will get the automap function before the US one.

We germans already got a working junk-inventory and summoned creatures don't appear inside obstacles anymore. Ne-ne-ne-ne-ne-ne :p

How about an angry German who bought the US Version the Day it was released

Because the German's got v1.2 when they purchased it... The company is more concerned with getting it ready for being released in other languages that it is to get it fixed for those that have allready paid for it. Let us just face a few fact here, they don't care about what we say on these forums, because they allready have our money, and anybody that actually reads forums, or game reviews isn't gonna by this game anyways. I believe they are just trying to get the game out in as many languages and countries as they can, so that they can get as much of thier investment back, then sit back and laugh at the suckers. This is why of course the warez community exists, with thier try before you buy philosophy... However some of us are still afriad of jail time...

Exodia,

Making comments about our company that are not true, is not necessary,

Personally I spend much time listening to peoples issues, views, comments and suggestions.

If you spend some time looking through the forums you may change your mind about how you feel and I am sorry for what ever reason you come to these conclusions.

Are you having problems with the game yourself ? If so, maybe I can help.

Maybe if you (or someone from Dreamcatcher or HP) told us exactly what happened with this release then people wouldn't be assuming and "making up stories". This is one of the most mangled game releases in the US in years.

I would like the first person on this forums who has NEVER made a mistake to raise their hands, otherwise sit down :) Again I'll say that this is a great game, just a little buggy. I've played through 3 times as different classes and never had a gamestopping experience.

/me slaps him too!

One has to be blind and never before played a modern day rpg to say the game is anywhere near good.
