PC Gamer gives DL a 45% rate.

What scares me the most in PC Gamer's review is this sentence: "Unless you have an extremely high threshold for frustration, don't touch this one until it's received some major patches."

Did the v.1.1 patch make it any easier?

I bought DL before I read the review, but I've read encouraging things about the game on this message board. I do intend to wait for the 1.2 patch before I try playing. I may even wait for the 1.3 patch.

if you waite for the 1.3 you maybe waiting a long time. Seeing as how 1.2 is a week and a half behind schedule.

I didn't notice much of anything different with the 1.1 patch. The screen flickering on load-up stopped...and I think they fixed the infinite selling spell scrolls for boocoo bucks...

...which is ANOTHER problem...

They should fix "bugs"...NOT "exploits"...hehheh... ;)

About all I noticed is the "fix" for the character customization issue. -snicker-

A little #snippy*snip* and that pesky character customization was adroitly "solved"...

Heck...you could even choose character portraits back with Crusaders of the Dark Savant... look at how far good ol' D W has progressed since those most ancient of days...

I appreciate your replies. I think I am right in waiting for the 1.2 patch. The main thing about the 1.3 patch seems to be the automap. Other posts on this board encourage me to think I can get by with the paper map and the in-game compass.
