Do Shugenja get Alchemy?

My newly advanced Shugenja character did not get the Alchemy skill. Both the manual and the in-game description say that Shugenja receive Alchemy, but my experience seems to indicate to the contrary.

I'm curious whether this is a bug, or it is supposed to be like this (and the manual and in-game description are wrong).

Did anyone have the same problem? If its a bug, is there a solution?

It's one of the broken skills that were not implemented in the game.It was said in some site that alchemy is not going to be fixed ever :confused: . I really like to see alchemy myself, but ...
