Nancy Drew Message in a Haunted Mansion [Archive]

I purchased a used copy of the Nancy Drew Message in a Haunted Mansion game for the GameBoy Advance. It didn't come with a user manual. I was wondering if anyone knows how I can save the game such that I can stop at any point and then return to that point at a later time.

Also, if anyone knows how I can get a copy of the user manual that would be great too!
