It would help cut down on confusion when Xbox version is released (and the hype before it's released).

...own forum make sense? Aren't even all the current consoles online capable?
I'm just thinking the percentage of those that own both Xbox and PC, must be much smaller than those that just own Xbox.
Also, I'd be bucking even harder for a video forum, if they added an Xbox forum and left us hanging.
Video forums have done quite well on other sites.

Since it appears that the Xbox version is gonna be substantially different from 'our' game, it makes perfect sense. We're quite capable of being confused on our own, without the added '...huh?...' factor of another format to deal with.
And no, I'm not planning on getting an Xbox...not even for this.

For some reason, to me at least, i don't think too many people know about PK. I mean i told all of my gamer "friends" at school about it and most of them never heard about it. Strange that a game with tons of awards doesn't make an impact like Doom 3. hmmm.

I can't remember seeng any advertising for the game, other than the demos on game magazine CD's. The reviews I saw were really positive, tho - maybe it got carried by that.
It's also kinda odd that it was chosen as the 'official' game of the CPL, given how far under the radar the game seems to be.

Perhaps the intention was to raise its profile by promoting it this way.

It didn't seem to work well. If they did commericals, I think PK would have been easily one of the most popular FPS's.

From the For What It's Worth dept. - My fiance's son lives on U/T and Halo. After watching over my shoulder in City On Water (S/P, Trauma), he decided that he's afraid of the game. Cool.
