Being a mature adult (old fart) that loves playing these type of games, I felt compelled to throw in my $.02 worth good or bad.

So far I have not run into any noticable bugs, CTD's or other nasty habits with this game. Works fine with my 3 yr old PC.

I basicly LIKE the look and feel of the game, the fighting controls are easy to learn and work well, magic system is also fairly easy to understand and use.

There are however a couple of issues that would greatly improve the playing experience if corrected.

This game desperately needs better points of references when traveling locally and especially outdoors. An active map would be best (like 'Morrowind' uses) or simply an ingame map with enough points to triangulate your location easily. With the current paper map and it's online copies, it is still very easy to get lost with many locations being far from the beaten path.

A "Load Game" button on the same screen as the "Save Game" would be nice. Otherwise so far it has been enjoyable as there are far too few entries in this genre.

I'm using one of the annotated world maps, the one where the gamer said he took out all the pink. The road lines are absolutely precise and just had to be drawn from auto-mapping. Makes one wonder why that wasn't included from the very start!!!

My comments were just that comments, not meant to inform the already informed.

In DL there are many instances where landmarks like buildings, signs, campfires, etc that are not annotated on ANY current map. With the winding and twisted paths it is difficult to stay orientated when looking for the next location.

At least in 'Morrowind" (which is HUGE), there is an automap and if you do get lost in the game (still very possible), there are plenty of different dungeons and caves to explore to keep things interesting. 'Gothic II' kept the paths relatively straight and most quest locations not far off them.

As I said before, I am enjoying DL's but I can see people getting fustrated by easily getting lost (location wise) in the game.
