Patch 1.3 & Saved Games

Does anyone know if Patch 1.3 will make previously saved games unplayable? (I've read posts to this effect). Because that would REALLY suck, since it's taken me a VERY long time and a lot of playing hours to get where I am, and h*$@ if I'm starting over again.

That shouldn't be a problem if you would just visit the gamebanshee site, and the dl maps and guides site. I'm just about to finish my fifth time through the game and will naturally go again a time or two before 1.3 comes out. Then of course I'll try the patch just for the heck of it.

From what I read yesterday, the saves <should> work, but that is not an 'offical' word (yet).

OK, thanks all...hopefully the saved games will work. I'm still a long way from finishing and have spent a long time playing, and the game will be even funner if the patch works with saved games. :)

I just finished it for the first time and am going to wait for the patch before starting a new game.

I just can't see wasting a whole lot of time only to find out that the saves are incompatable.

But really, I wouldn't worry about it. Just plan on finishing your current game as is and start a new one when the patch comes out.

I finished the game and I dont need my old save game, I wanted a new charachter anyway.

I hope the save will work for others, my first priority is Multiplayer :)

if i renember the the 1.2/1.3 deivision of content fixed/added post all the save breakers would be in the 1.3 patch so that the company had extra time to make shure that patch 1.3 would not break save files.

Either you are a glutton for punishment, not being entirely truthful, or you are really saving your review up for this game. I don't understand how you can play this broken game over and over and over again unless it's like the first computer game you've ever experienced. Have you played any other RPG games?

I dread to think this game could be completed twice in a week. There doesn't seem to be much value in that itself, plus the same storyline and quests over and over again. :eek:

Well, think about it. There's four guilds, and two sub-guilds, one that has advancements of its own, and one that adds to the advancement choices of the guilds you joined. I'd suppose there are at least 20-40 avaliable full class ideas. So, I'm not surprised in the least. If he wants to play it, let him. If he likes it, let him. It's his opinion, and we have no need to change it.

Jeremy told us it will be bundel of 2 patches, so we will see it for sure.

Patience is a virtue :)

Besides, its not like this game crashes every 10 steps. Looks like patches just add/re-enable the content that was already supposed to be there... (like char customization)
