i am looking to spend abnout $250 on a decent graphics card. i am a entry level pc, with no upgrades at all. i currently have a ati 9200 and just wnat a bit more so i can play more games that are high definition graphics with no problems.
any suggestions or places that i should research?

The Radeon X850s are the top of the line ATI cards. The new 7800 and 6800s are the top of the line Nvidia Geforce cards. You can go from there and see what you can find for around $250.

Id say try to get a 6600 or 6800 from nvidia or a 9800pro/xt.

With that budget, I'd suggest a 6600GT or a plain 6800, if you're NVIDIA-inclined. Otherwise an X800, if you can find one that cheap.
