Shadow Ruins the most beautiful level!

not yet seen further levels but imho "shadow ruins" has been the most beautiful DL level i have ever played.

despite more or less difficult puzzles and some annoying creatures, i ended up with a feeling of being in another world for a few hours :)

...good to make people think...

the only point was the boss - Lord of Shadows - who was the hardest one to kill... for me as a Fighter (Lord lvl.17) was a nightmare, coz a fighter may not bear any magic or strong range weapon and u have to engage in a melee combat, only one or two shots of the boss was enough to knock my 190HP life down!!! but it's ok, a boss is a boss ;)

That's strange, because my fighter can use a solar blast spell or whatever it's called. That spell takes down nearly anything. Too, a high quality bow takes them out from long range if your bow skills are high and you have high hawkeye ability!

Maybe some difficulty you have killing off strong opponents is your health (HP?) being so high. Once it goes over 100, enemies also take on an increased ability for damage. Wish this weren't so and it's something that would be a great patch fix.

i do not know why you had so much trubble with the guy i found him to be easy. I beat him with a lvl 19 warwitch in melee combate i did not cast any spells, short of balde of baal. He did not go down fast but he also did not cause any serious dammage. My life was over 120 hit points.

That was my favorite fight in the game and I like how the diff sections opened up... :D

im lvl 22 and played for 11 days (no cheats) but if it is easy for a lvl 19 it should b a walk in the park rite? :)
