The patch installed rather quickly and the automap draws as you move along. The map shows in the lower-left corner of the screen, but it's not very big. It can be zoomed in and out with numpad + and -, but wish there was some way of making it full screen or at least much bigger.

Well, you know what they say:
Wish in one hand and **** in the other...yada yada yada
You're probably lucky you got that much of an automap. After 6 times through, I doubt it's hampering your enjoyment of the game, right?

You mean, the 'M' key still does nothing?
Just a little map in the lower corner...hmmm...If you visit the Asian DL page Here (http://www.dungeonlordsgame.com/) you will see this functionality was in the pre-release screenshots (see below). Good work HP! How long did that take? 2 months? Well worth the effort
They also have a gallery that boasts a picture of an Elf with tatoos, looks cool - to bad we'll never see it.
Ha! I can't wait to go home and cry after I install this 'patch'.
Bard's Tale anyone?

The map may not be the best but at least I'll stop getting so lost in the wilderness.
while I waited for the patch i had to get my RPG fix so I spent over 100 dollars buying a bunch of used Playstaion RPGs. Console RPGs just dont compare to the computer RPGs (to me). None of the games satisfied and believe it or not I had more fun with a broken Dungeon Lords than the 4 rpgs I played.
so my download just finished and I'm off to install.

Yes, after 6 trips through the game, the automap AND the printed map make a pretty good combo. Truthfully?, a good printed world map by itself is hard to beat!
Does the ingame map mod still work? If so, that's a good combo as well.

I doubt that it wouldn't. It probably just changed some spell, item, and other files, along with the DL executable. I don't htink it would have messed with the page file. And if it did, we could still just redo it, right?
Yeah, i like my ingame map ;)

Yeah, the ingame map 'V' still works!
And the 'M' key does toggle the map, sorry about my post earlier - :o - Should have tried it first - I was just mad at the lack of substantial improvements made (spells, skills, class req.), only fixes.

Yeah, I redid the World Map workaround attached to the 'V' key and it still works the same.
