I must say, I like the little fella. Didn't think I would want to use it after playing so long with pen and paper. At lease now I feel more comfortable wandering off the beaten trail. ;)
One question, has anyone noticed yet if the automap makes it easier to spot unopened chests, campfires and the like ??

I haven't seen that, and I went through the sewers a while, which means a lot of chests and enemies(but only 2 deaths! :D ). I think I can see gates, though.

Funny I hardly notice the map untill I watch an enemy run and hid behind it. But the mini map has made pathfinding easier, i already memorised where all the camp fire were.

Wow! 2 deaths in the sewers?
Maybe next time through I can achieve such a wonderful feat, or did the auto-map help that much? :rolleyes:

Odd when i play a Fighter, Mage, Adept i did not die in the sewers, possibly because i did not enter untill i was level 5. But today when i played a Theif i died 2 times in the sewers darn rat swarms.

Actually, I think it set my game back to a harder difficulty. I need to try to survive on hard difficulty. I'm not realy sure, but there seemed to be a lot more spawns, like 1.3 reverted the options back to normal difficulty/normal spawns. The last few times I was having fun in the sewers, I didn't die once, but that was on easy mode. ;)
