What does Q3 mean?

It means "the third quarter of a year"
eg Q3-05 = July-August-September 2005 :)

Cool but i have a problem, i just got a computer from my brother. I went to play the gold edition but the letters were all scrunched up to a point where you don't even know if it was a letter or number or some alien language. Do you know what is wrong.

One more thing, can you take control over the hood or the Prince Edward? Can you do it after you beat the game and reselect a mission to choose a ship or whatever?

Once you finish either campaign for the Germans you will be able to use the KW and PE BB's and once you finish either RNE campaign you can use Hood.

They can only be used on tactical patrols.

The menu is fine but the preference screen, patrols, campain, statistics, and the missions have the scrunchyness and the items during the missions are scrunched up too like the weapons on the display on the bottom of the srceen.

It is a windows xp, the hardware is 512 ram and the video card is 32mg but the video card is a S3 Graphics ProsavageDDR. where can i download the decals and camoflauge?

I think that the S3 card isnt supported by the game. drop an email to support@warfleet.com with "enigma support" in the subject and attach a completed DXDiag report.
click start and run then type dxdiag and press return/click ok
In the DXD window run the audio and video tests then press save all information and send the saved file with the email, you can also put a link to this topic as reference. Im sure they can tell you exactly what is wrong :)

S3 is an onboard graphics controller, not a video card unless it's some bizarre model I've never heard of and thus does not make the games requirements. To verify google the model and make and find out.

Thanks but the gold edition says you can download decals and camos. where can i download them?

It says so in the read me file:

4.Decals and Cammo: ships now carry identification decals, sport new, and more detailed camouflage patterns. (These will be a separate download)

Oh so there is no way to get them? But what about the page on the dream catcher website that tells you about the game? the ship in the top right hand corner of the screen (snap shots) it is blue and purple.
