Hi everyone,
I played DL single player for a while since the release of patch 1.3 and the game is running nice with no significant bug at the moment (i just left Arindale in search of the Relics of Power). But last night me and my girlfriend gave it a try on multiplayer for the first time. While in the theatre that will eventually lead to Fargrove, right after the sewers, there's an elevator to go up a level but when we both jump on it and activate it, my character is correctly going up while hers is always falling down and there's no way she could go up with me. I read in various posts that many of you are stuck in Emmindor's Tower so i presume you've passed this point since it's at the very beginning of the game. How did you do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

We tried that way too, but to no avail. She can interact with the lever, make the elevator go up and down but when she board it she keeps falling down, like there is no elevator at all. I'm really angry because this game has really great potential, i was having so much fun in mp, i hope they will fix all of these bugs eventually

Just to let you know, Myself and two friends played DL today (V 1.3), and got up the elevator just fine. We fixed the broken elevator, and all 3 got on, and I pulled it. We all went up.

Sorry you are having trouble. You are right, MP is a lot of fun!

Also wanted to say that we didn't have any lag problems at all. We did notice that on one PC (slower than the other 2, it's a 1.4Ghz with Geforce 3), that his character would run more "jumpy" while watching him on our (the faster PCs' screens). The faster PCs were 2.7ghz with Geforce 5900 Ultras. Although the 3rd player ran "jumpy", it didn't affect gameplay for any of us.

We were playing on a local LAN.

The only inconvienence we have with the game is the long "zoning" times. We click a door to another zone and it seemed to take about 2 minutes to zone all 3 of us.

All in all, we think it's a great game! But I did like Wizards & Warriors too....

My friend and I are playing Direct IP and we came across that same bug. I had to jump onto my friend's character while he pulls the lever. That worked for us. The game play is really laggy. Is anyone else have is lag problems?
