This post is just because we want to know if there is gonna ever be an Patch 1.4 and what it is going to contain , can somebody from HP/DC confirm if :

*Character Customization.
*Missing Furniture and Npc's.
*Class Requirements.
*Broken Skills.
*Advancement level bug.
*Class Skills missing.
*Several missing spells.
Are ever gonna be fixed, or is the game considered finished in the state it is now?

I'd like to know if the two most important bug for me are going to be fixed.

1. Mltiplayer leaving Arindale buidlings bug - Either you warp or get stuck in ceiling

2. Broken Quests - Have to start all over because of and have to be careful not to let clients speak to main quest givers at certain times...

only bugs or major problems I have actually encountered;

* Dual wielding NOT working right - main weapon magic overrides off hand
* choosing what weapon you WANT to dual wield
* weird save game glitch which ends up loading with "error monster in space"
* pathing issues
* spells that DONT work - i.e. screaming spark - i have YET to see this thing do damage; Potion of Air - no matter how many times I drink it I always take drowning damage;

Things which are a minor inconvinience to me

*lack of actual customization
*limited items in game (i.e. no furniture etc)
*frequency of random encounters in supposedly "wide open spaces"
*NPC scarcity
*most spell glitches or lacks (i never tried nether stuff yet so. . . )
*speed issue with medium and larger weapons / frontal attacks NOT influenced by speed stat
*lack of quest cancellation if I want to change class after having started a quest
*lack of autosave/autoload and need to completely exit to reload last save

Things I have noticed
* stupid minor spelling or gramatical issues which should be the last thing you work on being done first??????
* radius on view in automap does NOT match radius of view in character. . . Radar movement needed to view your sides??? and when I can see a tower and when it shows up on map are like . . .almost 30 seconds to a minute apart???
* attacks of "packs" where i get mobbed by 12 creatures from an area I HAVE ALREADY CLEARED!!!
* WHY THE **** ARE THERE HILLS IN THE WATER?!?! not under the water. . . IN THE WATER!!! water is flat unless there are waves - it DOES NOT MAKE HILLS AND RIDGES AND VALLEYS THAT ARE STATIONARY!!! you do NOT swim up hill unless you are going UP A RIVER and water does NOT LOOK LIKE JELLO MOLDS

Thats all from me - the rest of the thing I have noticed have no influence on the game for me.

I cant give the bad without some good
Awesome dev of fighting skill - the way your attacks increase and gain combos as skill improves is a great thing - its not all about "which button you push"
Awesome work with the various spell classes - I love the diff between fighter/adept/mage like classes - and a wonderful way to separate them with items used :) good job there
Awesome work with the idea behind the differing class advancements - I like the way you only get two classes and have to choose wich one becomes your elite - very realistic
Great idea behind the adv point system
grfx arent archaic
good work on skills/stats influence - does need some minor work but good work nonetheless
landscaping is beautiful except for the water
love the fact that there are chests and stuff way down in the bottom of the lakes AWESOME great find when I was exploring and dying - could use some on top of mountains LOL

Radakast, I have to agree with you and your post. Thanks for including the goo and the bad, nice balance.

I would like to do some of the other character class quests, just for fun, without having to restart the game with another type of character. I don't know, but allow me to do those quests, but just not get the bonuses and heraldries. This alone would almost instantly add some 'side/optional' quests to the game with very little work.

I just think it would be nice to hear something OFFICIAL, so we could stop guessing whether there is going to be another patch or not.

If they're not going to do any more patches at least tell us, so people can move on to something else.

Radakast : Good list.
Melee combat improvement? What about after Lev5? They should have added some special abilities or something for those that pursue a very high skill level, I had 21/20/19 In light/medium/heavy and never noticed something special compared to the required wielding stats.

They still haven't released the game in some countries last I knew.... If they came out now and said no more patches but we'll make you pay for an expansion pack that HOPEFULLY fixes things.... Well they would hurt their sales a bit wouldn't they. Their mama probably told them that if they can't say anything good then...

No answer yet, that is not good.
Looks like there won't be any patches , perhaps a expansion pack...

i doubt very much there will be an expansion. i also doubt there will be any further patching. i think they made their money off us, and are done spending any more of it.

this thread should be an indicator of this, since not one mod has posted anything either way. judging by the history of this game, no reply means "not happening", and even when they say something will happen, its anybody's guess whether or not it actually will.

well perhaps the couple of HP/DM employees who frequent these boards have vacation these weeks.....That would explain the lack of response.... AFAIK most firms pretty much goes to stand by in july/august due to vacations...

True enough, caz.

But with a PR/customer relation nightmare that DC has inflicted upon itself...you'd think that someone there would take five minutes to deliver some sort of an "update".

Presuming, of course, that they care about their customer base.

It's looking more and more like they don't, unfortunately. And that, ultimately, is THEIR loss...

HEHEHEHEHE. No response. Thanks guys for keeping your customers/consumers (cough) suckers (cough) informed.

You really do care!

Keep up the good work!

The developers rarely respond to any topic especially those within the Suggestions/Feedback forum. Take a look at the profile of any developer within this forum and you'll see the most active developer will do 2 or 3 posts during an entire week.

I know my topic was also completely ignored by them.
