..Some time ago, i suggested to Frag that he should make a video, beating a level with no cards, no crosshairs, on tramua, ( yes you can take damage, but without damage would be cool) and some decent music. but i haven't heard from him and since i can't do it myself, i hope someone on here would give it a shot. it's a challenge without crosshairs. I'm just giving ideas to those who make these great vids that are on this site. Frag, if you have time, i think you should give it a shot, since you do so great with your other vids....

Yeah, I remember you suggesting that Grinder, but don't recall what level you were talking about.
If it hadn't been for my having to format my drive recently, I'd have been doing more videos no doubt. It was getting to the point where Movie Maker, Media Player, and the OS and many programs in general were not working properly. I still don't know if everything is OK, as it seems I'm still having a problem with having to reboot when often times I can't get on the net.
I've got many security devices now I've been trying, and one or two of them are good at catching polymorphic trojans. That kind of crap's got me not wanting to do anything on the net sometimes.
I did kind of need to take a break from PK/BOoH though, it had literally been months since I'd played any of my other games or bought any new ones.
I did pick up Tron2.0 for $10 a couple weeks ago, but mostly I've just been enjoying getting back into Far Cry, which is much more of a real world game, and the vehicles are fun to use.
I don't know if you've heard or not, but I found a site that does free file hosting for files up to 1 Gig. So far I've only uploaded one 13:38/146MB video, the entire Boat level from Far Cry.
I've actually only loaded Far Cry and Tron so far, kind of waiting to see if the system goes buggy again before instsalling any more. The last couple of days have been much better after DLing trial versions of antitrojan programs that catch the polymorphics.
I also DLed the trial version of Game cam, and have been comparing it's recordings to Fraps. You're limited to 30 FPS, rather than 30 Seconds with Game Cam, but some of the Far Cry stuff I've needed to record at 30 FPS anyway, because I use 2xAA, and 4x AF, which really helps smooth out the blur of the terrain and such.
I just found out that Game Cam actually works better with V sync turned on, so I'm actually getting a bit less FPS drop with it while recording. The picture quality, especially if you record in the same size Fraps does at half size (512), is still a bit better with Fraps, but not really better enough to justify the huge file size. I'm talking a difference of 13MB for a 30 sec Game Cam clip, vs 260MB for the same length, same video segment in Fraps.
The end result is, you can keep rerecording a difficult section of game over and over with Game Cam, without seriously bogging down your PC.

You want to make it toughter? No flashlight...

Flashlight - that wouldn't be harder because you can increase your gamma settings.

No flashlight would only be harder in dark maps like Asylum, but then the video would be too dark.
The map I left off with, Colloseum, would be a fairly good one for no crosshair, as the enemies are fairly close to you, not much time for aiming anyway.:D
