Update Black Edition or not?

I just reinstalled my Painkiller Black Edition (I sure hope my savegames and config will work) and I'm wondering, should I leave it as it is or patch it?

It would be best if you were at 1.61 or better. I don't know what version black is, but it should tell in the top left corner of the main menu.

Black Edition is 1.6. You should at least update to 1.61... read here:

Did you use patches 1.61 and 1.62 before using 1.64?
