No, this is not the end of BooH. I'm talking about the story. ;)
Spoilers below!
So, Eve acts a bit weird after Alastor Tin Can Version is beaten. She sounds like her voice is blended with that of Alastor's.
Has Alastor taken over her form and begun to reside in her? If the concept seems unclear, think Diablo takes over the Warrior.
Whichever way it is, she eats a shotgun shell (or two) at the very end. I guess she could've died, but if Alastor took her body over, that seems way too easy.
Doesn't it spread the sheet out for a sequel pretty nicely?

In the beginning, she tells Daniel that he needs to make sure that he kills Alastor away from everyone else - or he would risk Alastor's power transferring to them.

That supports this assertion further.

Eve absorbed Alastor's soul, the soul of the king of demons, which I tentatively call the h3ll force. I'm just hazarding a guess here, but I think the h3ll force is the accumulated power of every demon that has possessed it. It's a soul on top of a soul on top of a soul. I think Eve really is in control, but she's gained the power of Lucifer AND Alastor, which is, of course, a lot.
Re the shotgun blast; if a shotgun blast doesn't take out a Skull in one shot, I don't think it'd take out the ultimate boss.

Maybe, but scripted cutscene shotgun shots always carry arcane power, that's the way it's always been. ;)

ROFL! So true, so true...
And in several games (Painkiller included) the shotgun appears to be the only weapon available during cutscenes, regardless of which weapon you used during the actual game :D

I don't think Emultra will comeback.
He is gone for a month already, but he has beaten the record in this painkiller forum - he made his first 100 posts so fast, never someone has done it before...
But after that he dissapeared...
Emultra! Where are you?!! Lost in Sweden's mountains?
