View Full Version : Just Curious. Couldn't Pick Up Holy Item.

Did this happen to anyone else? When I played the Old Monastery level there is the holy item on top of the high wall ruin. I rapidly jumped up a corner (with great difficulty, but successfully) and walked right to the wall corner and stood on top of the holy item. But I didn't get credit for the holy item. It never disappeared. I did this twice. I've been playing the game patched to v1.35. Is this a known bug for that version or the game in general?

Yeah, that one can be tough to pick up. You need to very carefully slip sideways onto the holy item in order to trigger the pick-up. It may even take a few tries as you fall off. But it is possible to pick it up.

Yes, and i've noticed that sometimes it is not that simple to pick up hollies - 2 single Asylum crosses left behind in the 3 stock are "uneasy to grab" if heading on them directly.

There's a Holy at the top of the Stone Pit that I have never been able to get - it's down in a small crevasse, near the end of the level. Screws my 5-star run...

Download and install the latest version of Powermad, it includes a fix for that.

I already have. Now that I think about it, I did get it once. But, three nights ago, I couldn't get near it.

That one deep in the crack can sometimes be reached, it's pretty random. But the Powermad fix should have moved it so it was beside the other holy item nearby. If it's still in the crack, the fix may not have installed right.

... or you're using an old in-level savegame.

The only thing I've noticed at all is the sometimes-non-accessable Holy; everything else seems to be working fine, Powermad-wise. It was a 'good' save, also - I clean out my saves on a regular basis.
It's kinda annoying, but it's not causing the end of the world or anything.
