Does anyone play any kind of team deathmatch in this game? I just bought it today because I am looking for something new to play. I have been playing CS forever and have grown bored with it. Other games I played before that were dukenukem, q1,q2,q3. I tried painkiller and it reminded me a lot of the old q1/q2 days.
I think this game could have a huge following but I don't even see it listed in the online server browsers such as gametiger and game-monitor. Even Gamespy doesn't have this game listed in its stat list. I thought at least they would have something posted about servers since Painkiller uses them for the ingame browser.
I figured that since it was part of CAL that it might be popular, but it doesn't look that way. Seems like Dreamcatcher really dropped the ball there.. Should have really run with the extra exposure that CAL gave this game.
I was thinking of getting a server for this game but I can't even find a gameserver host that supports it. We run some CS:S servers and I was going to add a painkiller server. www.nohasslecs.com
Anyway.. if you guys know of some deathmatch servers (preferably team dm) let me know. I really don't feel like getting into 1 vs. 1 atm.. Too much strategy involved and too intense. I don't feel like figuring out all the respawn times of the health and other items then planning out a map and all that crap.
