"Devil Whiskey" = like old Wizardry & Bards Tale

YO,

Just passing some info for those who enjoyed playing the original Bards Tale and sequels of Wizardry that "Devil Whiskey" matches these and runs solid from what I've seen. Only flaw so far I've seen is it seems to crash like only once every 4 hours.
So many games would have greatly increased gameplay value if the developers provided a tool for randomly generating worlds, merchants, monsters, and quests.

Anyone playing "devil whiskey" ?

Yes i have play the game for a while i have buy the full version, but stop to play after the game crash has you said every couple of hours.

Suppose to have a new patch soon so i will restart to play the game again and waiting now for dungeon siege 2 :) :) :)

And finish dungeon lords a while ago replay value 0 :mad:

i downloaded the 2.0 demo of this and it was a problem. When the game started, you couldn't do anything when clicking the mouse or typing the commands on the keyboard. I came to the conclusion that you need telekenesis to move your character around. It was bugged out.

Been playing DW for about a year now on and off and I like it quite a bit too. I really brings back the good old school CRPG days. Someone on the forums name Origin even wrote a Bard's Tale mod to mimic the original Bard's Tale. Cool, I like it. :)

No, DW is a single player game like Bard's Tale. In fact this game caters to the fans of the original Bard's Tale.

Cool game.. definately retro. If the 3-d graphics were a notch or two better it would be great. As it stands the 2-d art is fantastic. Great writing and other content as well.
