okay, how in the HE11 do i beat that the Panzer Spider in the secrect level in BOOH, Pentagon???
This is a video I made a while back showing a compromise between a fast full card compliment method, and no cards at all.

This is mainly a tutorial on getting the card for this level with little gold to spend on cards. I'm sure by now even you new players of BOoH are noticing how they start you out with little chance to get gold in the first few levels.

When I started this level I had $1043, which is fairly typical really. Obviously that means big money cards like Forgiveness and Mercy are out of the question, and even playing 3 gold cards can max out your bank.

The cards used here are Fury and Double Haste, totalling only $500, and I employ them right after hitting two ammo boxes, when my attack at the spider begins.

These cards aren't bad to leave on the board too, in case you need them at the end of Dead City.

I've experimented with lesser or greater cards of the same type, but I find this combo to be just enough, without being too much.

I also use the tactic of grabbing ammo right after he goes into his lightning phase, as he generally walks around some, no matter what you do, then lines up with you to do the open mouth thing.

You will see me shooting at him a few times after he walks around in this phase a bit, and though he is invulnerable at that time, I find it sometimes helps get his attention, so he'll turn towards you a bit quicker and open his mouth

I find that an in your face approach, to keep him raising up, combined with strafing out of his peripheral when he stops raising up, is your best chance of avoiding damage.

He appears to be less likely to shoot fireballs, in my experience, when you keep him busy. Run off too much for cover, or dash for ammo at the wrong time, and the fireballs come and get you, even if you're behind the containers sometimes.

This was accomplished with no damage, and as result, I could make use of time collecting ammo instead of armor and health. I hope those that might need the tips can benefit from it. Music is by Rammstein, enjoy.

BTW, I also made a video gettting the card in this level without using acrds, and taking no damage. The time on it ran a bit longer at 3:05, but still well under the required 4:00. I tried to dig up the video but the link for it isn't working.

You might want to try this method with no cards a few times, if you're low on gold.

Frag, you did it again...I'm scrambling around looking for links, and you beat me to it.HaHa, probably a good thing, those FAQs aren't always very good info for walkthroughs. I noticed they still haven't rewritten the Shadowland walkthrough , which is woefully inadequate.:rolleyes:

Jeez, I HATE that level...The only thing I hate about it is when you play it on Trauma, in which case it's very annoying if you don't guess which is the right cannon to use.:eek:
