After waiting in vain for a reply (ANY reply...) from DC's tech support, I'm asking for help from my friends again. Does anyone have a copy of the 1.61 patch they could send me on a CD? I'll be happy to pay postage (preferably inside North America). If you can help me out, PM me and we'll work out details.

GameArena (my ISP's gaming board here in Australia) has the patch - English but it is really big (a tad over 350Mb).

I'm unsure if you can download it without first registering... if you do need to register, it's painless and won't cost you anything. The only thing is if you're not a BigPond broadband customer, you may be queued if a lot of people are downloading.

But you do know god invented downloading, right?
Or can you not download because of the recent problems?

I canīt download large files because that f***ing traffic limit I have prevents it.
And I doubt a website has the patch downloadable from icelandic server.

From the first thread about this -

Does anyone have a copy if 1.61 that they could burn to a disc and mail to me? The D/L is too big for my dial-up (it'd take aprox. 22-24 hours to get, and I can't tie up the phone for that amount of time - none of the servers I checked @ GamersHell will support a 'continued' D/L, so Getright fails me here, also...)
