"Gothic 2" is alot of fun... though the graphics are a "bit" dated the immersiveness will make up for it. Also, "Arx Fatalis" is quite a gem - be prepared to get a little befuzzled at points though, its Old School. "Sacred" is pretty fun if you like a Diablo-esque type romp... and lately, I have been thoroughly enjoying Dungeon Siege 2... its a tad easy after about level 15, but a great adventure with lots of action.

"Mount and Blade" isn't free, but the download is. Pretty cool game as well. If your willing to throw down some initial capital for the software, "Guild Wars" gives you an online game with no monthly charge that's beautiful and fun as well.

NWN was a great game, but the engine is showing its age... that sucker desparately needs a new version.

Yep definately, Can't wait for the newer games to come out.

As far as free good games, I guess that depends on how much you are into graphics. Unless you mean pirating and that I won't discuss. Any gaem that has descent grahpics by today's standards will always cost. Gaems are usually only free when they are made by an individual testing out their skills or doing it for the fun of it. Hence their lask of resources and wanting to waste money in somethign that'l get them no return they aren't going to be like any bought games. Anyway, with that aside most places that allow demo downloads also have full version free games, but as I don't try them often I can't think of any that are good, I am spoiled by today's graphics...
