Superpower 2 seems to be complete crap!!! Nothing but badly programmed. took me ages to get it to work in the first place (a month), worked once and now it's telling me i can't connet to the server. WHAT??? I didn't even click multiplayer! Complete dissapointment at the moment. I've just installed it again after getting a replacement, told me to put in a cd key (non-existant). Downloaded the patch which fixed this problem, but once in the game, i click for example 2nd tutorial in single player and ... can't connect to server. The forums and support pages are, well, broken links on the official website. there is no help on the crap golemlabs site. DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS WITH THE GAME??? THIS ISN'T A PROBLEM WITH MY PC BECAUSE I'VE TRIED IT ON TWO PCS.

According to the only information I could get, the main site for Superpower 2 got 'hacked'. Neither site listed at Superpower 2 actually sells the game. Amazon.com has some copies. Anyone with a copy who can't play it is stuck in a registry or a request for updates loop I am assuming. In any case, by the looks of things, Superpower 2 is tits up.
the program (especially the "joshua client") needs a working internetconnection (it will NOT use it in singleplayer mode), but it simulates a connection between two program-parts: the joshua server and the joshua client. maybe a firewall disturbs that or your options concerning network is blocking the (simulated) "connection".
You shoud check these things and try again.
there must also be a file called joshua_client.log and another one joshua_server.log.
When You open these files, You can check what happens, when You try to start.
