When will the Linux Demo be released ? :confused:
On the Demo Mirrors I only see some exe files...
Yeah, mindwarestudios had uploaded the Linux Demo at friday, 14.th.
So what?
Please give us a hint why the Linux Demo is delayed. :confused:
There are many people out there awaiting the Demo so badly.

according to the official forum / Patrik Rak (http://coldwar.mysteria.cz/viewtopic.php?t=60) the guys at mindwarestudios sent off the linux-demo about a week ago. so what's the delay?

I am badly waiting for the release of the demo toooo!!!!
Everything I heard and saw about Coldwar already seems so fantastic to me that I really wanna buy this game to play it on my GNU/linux system!!!!!!

to the linux version? we are know! the demo is ready.
what is the reason for the delay?
a official statement would be nice and helpfull.
at least this is the official forum and it seems nobody is really intressted
to give an answer and do a good customer support.

I think the salesmen are completly uninterrested for becoming known as a friendly publisher for alternative plattforms.
Everyone can imagine what that means. :rolleyes:

Well, it is, unfortunately, normal that the publishers wont post in an Linuxthread in there official Forums when there is no chance for an Linux-Port at all.
But this one is different.
The Port is finished. The Demo is finished. At least the developer told us so.
So why don't you release at least the Demo!? Would it hurt? Release it due Bittorrent, so you're Bandwith would no be touched much.
Why don't you give at least a short statement?
One sentence like "No chance for an Linuxport, folks" or "Stay tuned" would be enough.
But to tread you (potential) customers in that way (not at all) is just rude.
To speak free: I don't see a future for DreamCatcher. Not with StarForce, not without a friendly customer support.

I wrote a private message to the staff member in this board at 10-26-2005, it wasn't read until jet.
So there might be a little hope. Maybe all of them are on holidays....
