Whenever I go to multiplayer via internet nobody seems to be ever on. There is only like one or two other people and when I say something they dont ever respond to me.

This game and multiplayer isn't that popular over the internet as it is on LAN. It's sort of bad publicity for a game to be released as a piece of broken trash with lies of endorsements written all over the box.

Multi via gamespy is completely hosed at the moment. The hope is that 1.4 fixes it. Some folks have had luck with LAN. If you've heard of Himachi, you might try that. Don't know how well DL works with it, but it might be worth a try if you've got folks to play with that live far away.
The only way i play it is on LAN.

I've used Hamachi, but that only works if the other player lives nearby, like in the same state. That's just for me though.

OH yeah yesterday I went into this instance dungeon and all worked, my teammates and I had a great time, we rocked and i couldn't sleep for a few hours after it, i was so exalted. Wait, wrong game: it was WoW....
