Hi All,
I've been playing PK perfectly fine up till the Abandoned Factory when it went kaput. The screen is bleached out and next to impossible to play. I say "next to impossible" because I actually did play this way until the next check point to see if it cleared up after that, but it did not. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but no luck. Also, I went back a few saved games and played again and the Factory level did load, but it was very grainy and washed out. After a few minutes of play it became completely bleached out as before.
I have a Dell 2400 with 1 gig of ram and a Radeon 2900 SE 64 MB card. Like I said, everything has been fine up till this point. Also I have upgraded to the lastest drivers, DirectX before installing the game and I have also applied all the patches to 1.64. Since my computer is not too fast, I have been playing with practically everything turned down to the lowest settings or, if I have the option, turned off.
I will attach a screen shot.
This is my first post, so I hope this works. The game has been great fun up to this point.
