2 armours in coloseum for frag

now im stuck in an area where you can see 2 pieces of armour....1 is very high up and it has some ammunition and a crate.....and the other 1 outside the gate....the 1 where if you touch the key monsters start attacking...there was a ladder i climbed onto a beam....i got on that area but i cannot climb on top to get it....help me frag...hope someone knows the area im talkin about..i killed 242 monsters so far....they are both high up and the 1 outside the gate i have no idea how to get to it....dont see nowhere to get up to get the armour by itself

First off, if you've played well up untill that room, you can afford to go for the lesser armor first, and use it to fend off the guys that spawn after grabbing the key. The armor on top of the beam where the ammo is will ward off attackers better though, either way it's your choice on which armor.

There has been shown a way to get the other armor that's on a nearer beam near where you first enter the room, by which a barrel is placed to jump onto the balcony, but there is a more common way to do it, and the way I believe the devs intended.

For that armor, go to the ladder near the entrance to the inner gated area, climb it, then jump onto the horzontal beam that's right beside it. You'll want to save there. Face the direction of the ladder and just to the right of it. Try to space yourself far enough away from the pillar the ladder is mounted to so when you hop forward and mouse looking around the right side of the pillar you land just on the other side of it but on top of the fence that runs in line with the beam you start from.

This is a momentum hop you cannot really save with, you must execute it well and it takes at least three hops to do it. Your first hop as mentioned, the next you need to angle left and hit the top of the fence again just after the corner, then hop to the right onto the balcony ledge. Sometimes you hang up a bit on the balcony ledge, but a double tap there should get you over.

Make sure you grab all the goodies when you're up there.;)

The other one is a tight rope walk up the rope that you can see going from the low horizontal beam over by the key, and up to the armor and ammo you mentioned.

It's fairly easy to go up the ladder that's down a ways from the other one I mentioned, up onto the beam, then across to where the rope is attached. Line yourself up as dead center to that rope as you can while perched on the beam, then save.

Though I said tight rope "walk", I prefer to run up the rope, or in PK that would be hop. Take note of your crosshairs, and make sure you keep them aimed dead center at the rope as you go up it. If you start out perfectly centered with the rope, it should be much easier.

The rope is slippery enough to often need to get the goodies a little at a time. You may only get a third or half of what's up there, then have to make another go at it.

If you have a hard time battling the key spawn swarm, I've got a tip that works fairly well.

the easiest way to grab secret #2 is to use a barrel, like sys showed in his experience #2 video.
or you can try frag maniac's tips and hints.....very good help frag *thumbs up*!

but there are many other ways to grab secret 2! there is kalmes methode, there is the easy way that sys found, and i have found 10 or 11 other methodes (8 of them i have recorded) for secret 2.
i didn't try everything......maybe there are some other ways......who knows? :confused:

secret #3: there is the way, that kalme shows in his video and i also recorded 2 variants for this secret. 1 other way that i recorded some weeks ago, shows a combination how you can grab secret #3 and secret #2 in one single row.

yeah, this room in colloseum is a paradise for a secret-junkie like me!
i used: a vase, a pot, a doorlock, a torch, the wooden stage, the ladders and the fence. and if you combine some of these things with jumps - using the edge-boost - you get some nice variations.

but someday in september, i lost my motivation and stopped playing pk. therefore the video never became finished. but that is not important.....important was, that complit asked for help and i had those stuff on my harddisk and so i decided to show him the unfinished vid.
