Yes, seems like 10 on the board but only 7 different people if you count the "F word" guy.

It sure seems like it.
Well, when the patch comes out there will probably be more people. I'm going to be offline in a couple of days for about a week probably. Going on vacation. :)

Yeah, ten or so. I'm just enjoying some upbeat political discussions until something game relevant occurs for the 'ol USA.

To fan the flames? :D

I typically check this forum to find out more about rumors regarding the mythical 1.4 patch . I often find myself laughing at some of the posts.
I am sure there are others out there. ;)

I also check back for the patch but never take the time to sign in. I am very surprised that we have not heard anything from Jeremy or somebody from DC yet. When was the last time anybody seen anything official ? Was it the sticky posted 9-30 at the top of the forum page? I check the typhoon forum page every once in awhile and not much there either.

Yeah fairly discouraging the lack of any sort discussion or updates by the moderators. Havent really been posting at all just waiting for 1.4 to play the game again. Hopefully it comes in 2005.

Hi all.
I've been dropping in on an almost daily basis, to see if there has been any more news about an English version of 1.4, following the German release.
Other than that I really have nothing new to add to discussion about the game, since there have been no new developments since my previous post.
I did however PM both Jeremy and BGaum, to politely ask for news of the patch and express my dissapointment about the lack thereof.
Not surprisingly I have not recieved a reply from either.
Had I done so the responses would have been posted on this forum for all to read.
Cheers.

Just wait and see how many of us will be using these boards if the 1.4 patch SUCKS.

Hmm. That gives me an idea... I think we need a poll about this!

I'm still here, but I haven't had time to post much because I've been busy sacraficing chickens to the Nordic gods in the backyard trying to find out when 1.4 will be released. I still haven't received an answer, so after posting this I will have a shower and wash off some of that chicken blood, eat a nice chicken salad sandwich and then start sacraficing goats because maybe Nordic gods don't like chicken. But I'm determined to get an answer to The Greatest Question Ever Asked My Mortals even if I have to sacrafice every animal in So Cal. ;)

There's real live animals in SoCal? I thought it was all cars, plastically-enhanced humans and theme park automatons. ;-p
Had to post in this thread, as it seems everyone else is...

You may have contracted bird flu.
Lets hope not, as your 'scientific' efforts are the most likely means by which we may yet get an answer on the release of the fabled patch.
Cheers.

You are correct. There are no live animals in SoCal. I import them from Canada and Mexico and it's not cheap. Luckily I have been able to take out a home equity line of credit to continue my pursuit of the answer to The Greatest Question Ever Asked By Mortals. You know, the patch whose name we must not say out loud. ;)

I think Dungeon Lords should go into the Guiness Book of records.
"Most delayed patch ever".
Edit: Or rather "The first alpha game that went gold in beta state".

After way to much waiting on 1.4 I have broke down and bought DS II. 4 whole cds in that package. Wow! What a concept to have everything done for the game before you sell it !
I feel like the rope I am using to hang onto 1.4 is slowly slipping out of my hands.

Yes, DS 2 is polished... but after a few hours of playing it, it feels ALOT like the original.... linear and easy.

I just came back to check on the status of this game for the first time in several months (my last login date appears to have been in July).
I laughed, although I give Dreamcatcher a couple of points for avoiding bankruptcy. I also changed my review on Amazon to reflect that the guy who was claiming that the game had been fixed to version 1.6 was on someone's payroll.
Good luck to those who are still involved in this. What a shame.
