Heard the saying before?
Just think about it!
I'm not a great one for conspiracy theories, but consider this; forum posts and the number of those actively using the forum have dropped hence 'this thread' (http://dreamcatcherinteractive.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26364).
This may result in a "low demand for the patch, has warranted no further development is commercialy viable", type response.
My proposal is simply this flood the board with nothing other than polite requests for information about the 1.4 patch.
This will actively demonstrate in a positive way that there are more than 10 consumers interested in the patch and it's release date.
Further to this, flood Jeremy and Bgaum with politely worded requests for any information on the patch and a release date.
Don't forget to request a 'read reciept' when sending the PM.
In following such a course of action collectively we can demonstrate the following,
there is strong interest in information about the patch, and it's forthcoming release.
"we shall not be moved", to paraphase an old protest slogan.
In adopting a non-abusive stance, we will give DC no reason to ignore us, and that we are not going to go away.
Come on join in on the chant . . .
"We shall not be moved . . . We shall not be moved . . . *louder now* We shall not be moved . . .

This forum HAS to have set a record somewhere for new threads started regarding the 1.4 patch.

Build it, and they will come.
I think the devs should have remembered that one.

I would be happy to send a polite message about the patch.
How do I do that? Is there a link or email address?

To send a PM,
click on the link for the posters name, ie Jeremy, this will bring up that persons 'Profile' page.
under 'Contact Info' select the link "Send a private message to ....."
type your message in the dialogue box that appears.
post the message
most important of all select "Request a read reciept" when prompted.
Alternatively I have provided direct links below, for sending PMs.
Send a private message to Jeremy [DC] (http://dreamcatcherinteractive.com/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=12675)
Send a private message to bgaum (http://dreamcatcherinteractive.com/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=8112)
I am sincere in my promotion of this approach. As a Consumer Advocate in a Health related field here in Australia, I would reccommend a similar approach.

You do relize that we arn't the only people who are waiting? I'm pretty sure there are a lot more than 10 people playing the game waiting for the patch too. Forums from what I think never result in actual sum of all the customers.

Yeah, most people who play a game never post in the forums.

Absolutely and so do DC I can assure you. Please read on.
Yeah, most people who play a game never post in the forums.
As a Consumer Advocate the points quoted above are known 'givens'. Though I do not loose heart, nor my sense of purpose.
The actual number of Consumers who are 'active' in speaking their concerns about the Service to whom I represent on their behalf, is quite low compared to the total number of actual Consumers.
Nevertheless management takes note of the feedback that I present to them, and has on many occasions taken action, and in a number of instances surprisingly quickly.
That a single well written letter in a lobbying campaign carries more weight, than a considerable number of signatures on a petition, is yet another example of this phenomenon, forgot the statistically accepted ratio sorry.
The point is, even though the number of active members on this forum may seem insignificant compared to the number of inactive members and non members; it would be wise not to underestimate the significance of such representation.
From personal experience the voice of the 'vocal few', if persistant, articulate and focussed enough can be extremely effective.
Consider also that many non active members still visit this forum, though they may not post, or consider sending PMs, yet.
Cheers.

Just FYI. I tried both of the links kindly provided above, and both tell me that I do not have the sufficient priviledge to use them.
Guess they don't want to hear from us, after all.

Hmm I cannot quite understand how this would have happened.
Perhaps the 'step by step' method that I mentioned might work for you.
I have only just sent off another PM to Jeremy. Hopefully this time I will recieve a reply.
If so rest assured I will post it on this forum.
Cheers.
I have just sent a message via the links you posted to support what you are trying to do, if it gets answered i wil post the reply.

I can appreciate your sentiment, and please don't confuse my advocacy of a polite approach to not being angry.
I am as annoyed as anybody else about this. Especially since DC have annouced a collectors edition to be released in January.
Being abusive towards DC/HP, Jeremy or Bgaum has not helped either, in fact it has only served to get people banned.
Once again I urge people to PM both Jeremy and BGaum, and experess your discontent.
By all means let them know that you are angry about this, but avoid being abusive, that will only give them reason to ignore, and hence be a waist of your time.
You may also think that the approach I have reccomended is a waist of your time, I can assure you it is not. The stronger the message, both in quality and quantity that we deliver to DC the better.
It will get to the stage where they simply will not be able to ignore us anymore.
Give it some thought, more importantly give it a try. I myself have sent a number of PMs lately, all of which have not been acknowledged. Yet I haven't given up.

Jermey doesnt work here anymore. As noted in the collecters tin thread.
he finally got sick of being the public face for such a clueless rip off company i imagine.
tells you something when even the employees want nothing to do with this clusterF.
But us customers who got ripped off. we should still be polite.

Can I not swear just a little bit?
As do I (in person), and have done in the past on this forum. But with any PMs, and posts, express your anger and dissatisfaction by all means.
Moderate it carefully though, and avoid being abusive.
