i've been thinkign about it. But then i sold the game but kept the game on my machine, so it'd really be jailtime for jailtime here.....

My understanding is that regardless of where a company is based, that they can be held responible under the laws of the 'country', where their 'product' has been 'marketed', particulary if said 'marketing' is misleading.
Not only that but isn't the company involved required to support their product.
Please someone correct me if I am wrong.
Perhaps when it comes to Computer Software though, it is a bit more tricky.
