anyone have a video on that level?.....dont have the game now but i wanna see how allistor was killed...Yes, I not only have a video of that Complit, I have written detailed walkthroughs on it from time to time.
Basically, I throw out the idea of using the most common method offered, which is to stand on the red circles (sacrificial altars), while Alastor damages you (ie: makes you bleed on them). Your blood on altars triggers one Golem (stone giant) per altar. Most advise to try and distract Alastor away from them when they appear, often times telling you only to release one Glolem at a time.
Forget that method, it's old, ineffective, and relies much more on luck, especially the distracting part.
Instead, equip your flamethrower before you even enter the fight area, and hop like mad for the closest circle, but rather than stand there waiting for big Al to come, tap your Flamethrower at your feet while you're running across it.
If you do this with a Haste card employed, especially Triple Haste, it will be much harder to do, as there is a delayed effect with the flamethrower damaging you.
Keep going from one circle to the next doing the same. I like to stop briefly and turn to look at Al after the second circle, to see if he's coming after me, or the Golem. If he's coming after me I prepare for battle (equip Rocket Launcher or Shotgun), as it's almost a given one of the Golems will catch him off guard and hurt him, at which point you can shoot him because he is then vulnerable.
As far as I recall Haste and Rage were the only two cards employed in making this video, yet my time was about 1:35. When I use those cards I employ them right after a Golem hurts Al, they basically just make the killing of him fast enough to be done all in one vulnerability mode (1 Golem attack).
If you really want to get fast with your time, you can employ a full set of cards. I was able to beat him in :23 once, using the Ammo and Mercy cards for silver, and Speed, Triple Haste, and Rage for Golds.
One guy implied my scorecard was hard to believe when he saw it said 0 for ammo pickup, until I explained that the ammo card enables you to skip the ammo on the trail and run a much straighter route.
Like I said, much of this level is dependant on luck, especially in what happens right after the Golems are released. It can be frustrating, sometimes even if you get to 3 circles and release 3 Golems he'll smash each one. You DO have a much better chance at beating him, and within the time requirement using this method though.
You stand a much better chance of a Golem attacking him if one catches him off guard, which is much more likely when there are 2 or 3 in play. I generally don't even bother turning to face All and distract him with this method, spending my time releasing Golems instead.
