about this, but the way I see this is that the CE will have 1.4 AND more spells/quests/ect. So people with the original that use the patch will not be privy to these other updates?
From bgaum - The Collector's Edition will have all updates incorporated into it (including Update 1.4). Additional new content will also be included with The Collector's Edition including: new spells, monsters, quests, etc.
If that is the case i'm deeply dissapointed. Of course it's to be expected.
I feel they should include everything the CE gets into the 1.4 patch. We have been more the patient over the past few years...

DahakaJR, it is quite believable that there will be content in CE that is not in the original, including the 1.4 patch. What remains unanswered is not whether there will be new content, but whether the new content is beyond what was originally documented on the website, advertising materials and in the packaging of the original game.
Many believe that CE will simply bring the game up to what was documented, not add anything additional beyond what was documented. There is a huge disparity between the game as it stands, with or without the 1.4 patch, and what was documented.

Yeah and if you ask me after that sorry excuse for a game they aready sold us they should give us the collectors edition for free.

In truth, I think they should give us the CE for free AND some bucks(like they have any left) for all the time wasted waiting for this legend of a patch to come out AND for beta(possibly alpha too) testing the game for them.
