Problem with Snowy Bridge

I don't know if the patch will fix this or not. I downloaded one last night, but it was corrupted. So, I am downloading it again I do have broadband. but it still is going to take a little time. Anyway, when it starts me on Snowy Bridge I am placed under the bridge(you know how it looks on some games when you turn off clipping and you walk under a certain area.) That is how it looks, I fall to my death every time. The reason I am posting this is because in reading what the update fixes it doesn't say anything about this situtation.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

Also, there is a recurring 'bug' that occasionally does something similar to what you've described. The patch(es) aren't gonna solve it - usually, the only workaround is to replay the level from an auto-save. Note that, after patching above 1.6x, any pre-patch saves aren't going to work, except for beginning-of-level auto saves.

I downloaded the correct patch and this time it installed correctly. Everything seems to be running fine. I restarted from AutoSave at the beggining of The Asylum. When it goes to the Snowy River Stage it does the same thing. Any more suggestions.

Ok, I dunno. The only thing I can think of is to start a new game, and try to play past that point - be sure to delete ALL your saved games, if you do this.

You might also think about trying this - http://www.kalme.de/painkiller/index.php/content/view/22/45/. Don't be put off by the cheat code part of the program - it also has a number of small bugfixes that help smooth out the whole game. Well worth the download.

Have U installed a older PowerMad version?
Too many savegames or unpacked some Files with Xentax or PainEditor?

I am stumped. I am working on going through nightmare mode with no cheats. I have made it to the opera house. But so far that is as far as I have made it.

Do you know if there is a cheat for clipping. I Have medal of honor. With that you can turning clipping off and walk through walls. I think also when you jump with clipping off you will keep going higher. If painkiller has this then I can use this, but, I have yet to find out whether it does or not.

Yes? So then i would think that might cause the problem. But to gat sure, im talking about a non1.64-savegame (1.6/1.61/1.62).

Where do you get powermad. I saw it the other day, but can't remember where. And will it work with any version or just certain ones. Oh, and where do you get ammo for the flamethrower and the stakes for the one that shoots 6 at a time???

Got the powermad loaded for my version. Snowy Bridge came up like it was supposed to. The game was lagging real bad though. Wasn't doing that before I installed the powermad, though it might have something to do with my video card. Right now I just do meet the minimum on the video. I have a 128 somewhere, have to find it though.
