painkiller black, no textures

3.2 hz
1028 ram
128mb nvida go fx5700
latest drivers
latest directx

game installs, patched no problem.

Run game, no textures at all. Just a white and gray screen. some textures appear walls, creatures. But ground, water all white.

Anxious to play the game, but it would be nice to see all these great graphics.
Any and all help welcome.

Patched means 1.61/1.62 and 1.64 without errors?
I remember this bug when i tryed to play singelplay via PK++. So here is my question: Have U installed PK++ and tryed SP viv the play PK++ icon.
I remember there was a second problem that caused the gray, missing textures ... but im not sure ... have U tryed to lower Ur graficsettings?
