You wont see a update until the new edition of DL is out on Jan 27th or whatever the date is. They are not going to allow an update to steal their thunder on the DL Special edition targeted at the end of this month...Just my hunch, but bet update will be in Feb or later...

Well, if so IMHO that is a very big mistake on their part. I doubt disgruntled current customers are going to rush out to get the CE when there is not even an official English 1.4 patch.

But... If you were speaking German now, I wouldn't have had to spend all that time changing the German to English for the Unofficial 1.4 German to English Mod. Though... I'm still glad we won the war. ;)

BTW i just love the work youve done on the German to english 1.4 patch... and i'm sure everyone who has downloaded it will join me in a massive THANK YOU !!!!

I remember trying to build DOOM maps when their was no editor.. and trying to run LAN games with it... was very rewarding when you got things working.

I wish ID Software would make a fantasy game unlike the fantasy company that built this pile of poo. Its a real shame because Dungeon Lords has so much potential.. ah well.

Titch, you're welcome. It was a challenge, but a lot of fun. I wish I could have a new Might and Magic game but more like 7 than 9. I really didn't enjoy 9 as much. No Flying. I loved flying around a new area to open up the map and check things out.

Also agree that the Official 1.4 won't probably be out until the CE is released. Let's see... DC said Jan. 27th. What date would that be in our world? ;)

He must have a CE beta version since the CE is not out yet. That explains why the English 1.4 patch is not done yet. They have one person assigned to the patch and everyone else to the CE.

I have the CE. So far as I can tell, it's no different at all from the older version that you guys bought, except that it has version 1.3 on the CD, instead of having to patch it to that level. Oh, and a cool tri-fold box with lots of screenshots and marketing artwork.

He says "a cool tri-fold box" and we know the CE is supposed to be in a Decorative Tin box. So I don't think he has the real CE.

That was the same version that I have just sent back to Dream Catcher and it is not the Collecters Edition. They either bought a mislabled product, is mistaken, or is pulling the wool over your eyes. If you go to your local retailer right now you will see that it is the current version they carry. Oh and FYI Heuristic Park is responsable for the patch not Dream Catcher. HP is the software developer where DC is just the company that Hp went to for prodution. Untill Hp gives DC the patch DC can not give it to us.
