BooH is the short name for Painkillerīs expansion pack, the full name is "Painkiller: Battle out of Hell"
You have rather small amount of memory and the video card is very old, have you tried to lower video settings or update to the latest (non-beta) catalyst drivers? What is your processor and motherboard?
Btw, if any of these settings are enabled in the video options menu, disable them. Because your video card doesnīt support shader model 3.0.
"Bloom"
"Warp Effects"
"Dynamic Lighting"

Download the latest patch and tell us if you still get the error.
As for the card, you'll be able to play FEAR at low settings with a 800 x 600 resolution probably. It has no problems running PK on high (if you have 1GB of RAM that is) though. But yeah, you could call it an "old" video card.

Download your patches from here - http://www.gamershell.com/patch_download_archive_P.html?orderby=name. You need to know which version of the game you have (top right corner of the in-game navigation page) to determine which patches you need. They are listed by release date, so be careful which ones you download. After D/L'ing, just run the installer - they'll sort themselves out.
- edit - read this for further details; http://www.dreamcatchergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26376

Go here (http://gamershell.com/pc/painkiller/downloads.html).
I think you should first download the 1.62 patch then install it (just like installing the original game, click on the setup file) then after you install 1.62 get 1.64 and install it.
I'm probably wrong, I suggest you to wait for somebody who still has the game installed to reply.
Edit: This thread (http://www.dreamcatchergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26376) should also help.
Edit 2: Screw you, Kalme!
Edit 3: Make that T'Krau, god... I suck for names. :'|

Because "PLAYING PAINKILLER" is not a good topic title, "Patching Pankiller" would be better.

Iīm afraid so. But your card isnīt a bad one, but it will be obsolete in a matter of month(s) like my old Geforce 5700.
You should try to patch the game, download patch 1.61 from www.gamershell.com, and when you are done downloading, open the ZIP file you downloaded and run the file in the archive. When you are done, you successfully updated the game. Patches 1.62 and 1.64 are mostly meant for multiplayer and therefore optional if you donīt play online.
After applying the patch, you are going to notice that the game runs like in slow motion, so disable the video settings I showed you in my above post.

The installer should default to the original installation path for Painkiller. This is normally C:\Program Files\DreamCatcher\Painkiller\ If this does not exist, search your drives for Painkiller, note the path, then make sure the installer will 'install' there.

The setup is asking where you installed Painkiller. The default path is.
C:\Program Files\DreamCatcher\Painkiller
If the setup asks for the executable path (Painkiller.exe), add this to the line above.
\Bin\Painkiller.exe
So it looks like: C:\Program Files\DreamCatcher\Painkiller\Bin\Painkiller.exe
I take it that you are a computer user that never goes into My Computer, just uses the desktop shortcuts, so all what I say may be alittle confusing. But try the path I wrote above, and it will update the game.
(that is if you did not change the default install path)

How do i apply it to the game?
The question is almost answered
C:\Program Files\DreamCatcher\Painkiller\Bin\Painkiller.exe
by default.
:p
Gotta say that Docks has some weird **** going on even though my PK is 1.64 with BooH installed and you can see my system specs on my sig. Fighting on the lumbago ship jams my computer very often, some invisible walls appear to be random  and give the change for shortcutting, though doesn't work always. The container area where those trucks are, can be skipped sometimes since the fencedoor is left open . But game crashes after that and jumps to windows. There are some other minor issues, maybe I should do a video :)
