We tried to play Painkiller on LAN. But when anybody creating, others can't connect. The problem is we don't see a server in server list, and when we trying to connect by IP, it says something about failed to challenge authentication.... WHAT SHALL WE DO?? ..... maybe the problem is we using one CD for all users of our Network??

Yesterday we managed to start server. we played some time. But when I created the game nobody can not connected. And one of my friends created server, unseen to me. Only one from our network created normal game, but we all are using the same CDkey

I've got a lan running with 8 boxes on it. I also had to get 8 games because it sees the cd keys and won't let multiple users of the same key on at the same time. Also, a common mistake is to go to internet instead of lan when joining the game on a lan. If you click lan, the box that is the server will be at the top, you highlight it and then click join and you should be good to go.

Like most online games it's one CD key per I.P., I'm sharing a game with a bud, we can both play online but the side effect is that we can't be on the same server.
