Do I have to be the server admin to kick ?

Hi I haven played in a while but i just got painkiller black and its great no probs at all. I know the commands from reading in these forums but the commads dont seem to work for me. I would like to know if i have to be the admin server in order for the commands to work and if so how do i log in as administrator because i refuse to play any online game without being able to get rid of cheaters and lamers.

What kind of server do U talking about?

It dependes on the serversettings. On some servers U have to be the admin (if kicking is disabled).
On some servers U can kick if enabled.

1.) Ur the admin (kick me)
2.) /callvote kick Name
2.a) /callvote kickid 666
write /players to find the ID of the player U like to kick
2.b) /callvote bankickid NameOrNumber (noway hehe)
2.c) say never "never" come back

I would not say that speedhacking is impossible, but a dualcore CPU´s can do the same.
Ask first - then kick.:rolleyes:

The server wanna have controle over is only my own. I dont mean with calling a vote or anything on others server just my own server so i beleve i have to be admin such as typeing adminlogin (pass) to log in as administrator. and yes i remember you Artas i just got done playing with u again hehe. i didnt notice a cheater earlyer but every online game has them and i have a dualcore prossesor and it works great but dose not make me faster. The point is just to controle my own server thats it. i want to run good servers where ppl dont have to worry about bs in the game. i just came out of a online pay to play and it was full of hackers but it was a public server so i quit because the server wasnt doing anything to fix it. thx for the posts guy c u in there.

I still dont know what kind of server do U talk about! Is it a listen or a dedicated server (write /serverinfo in the console).
I dont remember the admincommands, but there where some of them /rcc admin ?:confused: Check the readme.

Artas, once I also experienced that once (actually twice): "A cheater who was extra-fast!" - I know how You mean that. I have no explanation, it seemed to be cheating for me too, but the guy said he was lagging too much. Then he discovered the problem soon and left the arena. Also, I experienced that earlier too with another guy. I don't know what to think/say about this, but I know that it totally ruins down the game for the other players...

The server kind i mean is non dedicated server. me running it and playing on it. i had a guy in my server today who i unloaded 2 of my best weapons on an he woulnt die. later when i started beating his score he whinned and left but i am sure he had some kind of hack. i will make sure in my own mind if someone is cheating or not and how many ppl do u know if u ask are gonn tell u they are cheating. ive seen to many of these ppl in every online game ive played including now sad to say painkiller. all i need in the means to controle my own server while i am in it that is it. thx for the replys guys.
