Cold War question

Hello:

I am playing Cold War (love the game, it is wonderful
to play, great designing guy's) but I am on the level
I am in the generator room and I can't find the manual
release to open the security door. It says go in the guards
room but there is no manual switch to open the security
door, so I am stuck. I am on the level with Sonya as this
is too tricky as I don't know if this is an error or an
impossible clue. I need to find the manual release and how to open the
security door manually. Please let me know where and
how to open it.
