Stuck in Destination Sonya

I am trying to follow Barinsky and I need to find another route. I am in the room with the dome in the middle and a security office upstairs. I went into the office and opened a portal I believe and then went down the stairs by where you entered the room and go through a door and down some more stairs and when I get to the bottom the door is locked. I can look with the xray and see 2 ladders heading down but at the top they are covered by a door I cant open. I am totally lost as to what to do now.

I think you have to follow Barinsky into his office first before being able to go further into the building.
Outside his office there is a ladder that leads up to a crawling spot and then two big pipes over the guards head. When you enter his office from the sealing you have to hide and wait for him to talk on the phone, then you follow him to the next spot.

I am past that part, I am in an area where there are some workers and about 4-5 gaurds. in the middle there is a dome like thing that you have to walk around to get to the other side.

Again you have to follow Barinsky. He went all around the dome to a room under some stairs. Can't remember wich side though. That's were he has Sonya hidden. You can also get outside that room if you follow the underway path. You need to find an open hatch.I hope this was helpful.

I'm on the part where you follow Barinsky to the second office, and there is a Guard in front of the door. When I take him out and no matter how well I hide the body, it is discovered. If I deal with the others, then time runs out and the mission is failed.

What am I doing wrong?

You have to hide in the office with out killing the guard. In order to do that you have to crawl above him using the pipes over his head and that lead in the office, when inside hide and wait for Barinsky to enter and you can listen his phone call.

Well I figured it out on my own.

What I did was wait until the worker was about midway throught the electrical tunnel, then I sling shot a coin down the stairwell. As the Guard leaves to investigate, I can slip past him and into the office to hide in the locker. Then when it's time to leave, easily take him out with the X-ray Camera. Never though about the Pipes solution.

This game kind of reminds of the "Thief" series (great games BTW).
