So, I ended up getting the CE for 20$. I played for 15 minutes and already two things that irritated me in the original are glarring right in my face. These things may be nothing to some, but to me they are so in your face obvious that I don't see how you could NOT fix them....

One, is the way your character continues running for a few seconds after you stop. Two, it the irritating jerk that happens when enemies spawn.

Besides that, it's been confirmed (pretty much) in the Gamebanshee forums that the dialogue leading to the Shadow Lords quest is broken. A link was apparently left out of the games code. If that not the most innept thing....once again they apparently did NO testing. I just don't get this mentality....are they THAT ignorant? One of the 'selling features' of the CE (new class) is broken on release.

So far, the shiniest new thing about the CE is the box, which they obviously spent more time on then redeaming their product.

Some of the things like the stuttering when an encounter happens and the floaty-walk i've kinda learned to live with even though I dont like them.

I've been having a pretty good time with the CE - I've really enjoyed the new stuff in Custard Mansion and other quests and new stuff i've come across - Arindale comes to mind, and just the fact that things work now. At least I haven't run into any problems *knocks on wood* I sure wish that this would have been the version that was initially released. I know a lot of people would be a lot less unhappy :(

Well, I hope your game gets more enjoyable for you

The stuttering doesn't happen as much when you're in a dungeon. It seems to happen more in open areas.

After playing the 1.5 version for several hours today in multiplayer, the most annoying thing I encountered were the guards in Fargrove. You can't pass by any of them without them running up to you and saying something. We got to the point where we were cracking jokes and purposefully trying to avoid them as they walked up and down the street.

the guards always Qing u is a little annoying, and I like the game stutter, outdoors, for it tells me to expect unwanted companions.
One thing that I found was funny occurred just before I entered Ulm castle to reprieve the elf kings ancient armor. I heard wolf howls, so i went looking for them and found them stuck in the castle wall. The head and front legs were visible, galloping at u. couldn't hurt them and they couldn't hurt me. LOL
The most satisfying fight was killing the vampire in the slumps. magic weapons in the off hand now works also.
so far I have found the game very enjoyable in spite of minor problems: disk 3 is the play disc with no gameplay autorun (disk 1 brings u install shield with some options), if I leave the game and return to desktop, I have to reboot because the game fails to load, the dreamcatcher logo fails to appear.

You don't need the disc in drive to play.
