Open the 'music' folder in the game directory (Painkiller > data > music) - the titles and artists are listed there.

What are you talking about Bjossi? Poll is wrong beacouse PK is on first place, and your doom 3 has only couple of votes? Well, IMO PK and HL2 were the best fps of 2004. Doom 3 is big dissapointment and it could win in a "crap of 2004" poll ;)

IMO Doom3 ain't nothing special. It's slow and couldn't scare me even on the first time I played it. And graphics in that game ain't such a big deal. I upgraded my system so I can run it with 1024x768 and ultra detail and there's nothing special. Doom3 just doesn't have replay value. I'll stick with PK because of the beauty, speed and gore :)

RJ19, it looks much better than HalfLife 2 and Painkiller. But I have to say that the D3 graphics get old, always the same walls. I never knew that you could get bored of a certain type of graphics.

No, Painkiller is a great game, but I just find it a bit "biased", I bet many people didn´t even look at the other options. I thought HalfLife 2 and UT2004 were better games and so was Doom 3 and CoR.

But Doom 3 was the best of the options in my opinion, enjoyed every repetitive room in the game, don´t ask me why.

So you say that D3 is fps of the year 2004, it has dull graphics, it's repetetive but it's the best shooter and you don't know why.Good point;)

It has better graphics then Pk and HL? LOL, it's nowhere near. It may have more powerfull engine, but it's not the same

As I said, don´t ask me why I loved the game more than the others. ;):p

The graphics are very different between the games, Doom 3 aims at lighting effects while Painkiller and HL2 aim more at making the environment look great.

But what graphical effects make me stunned the most are moving shadows and lighting effects, which appearantly D3 kicks both PK and HL2 to the infinity.

However, HL2 has the most beatiful landscapes I have ever seen in a game, and Painkiller has the best looking particle effects I have seen. So I give those games some points for their graphics too. :)

And audio effects in HL2 stunned me too, hearing the damped explosion sound if it explodes very far away just sounds so awesome. :D

No wonder that everybody likes the OST of Painkiller, the reason is that it was registered by once a very famous polish heavy metal band called Mech :), it recently had a come back and a new long play of this band came out this year :), the music is great :)
